OT: new product from Rosco
This is for those of you who have used ND gel for windows and had to deal with changing lighting conditions.
Be sure to watch the product video. It's called RoscoVIEW (Variable Intensity and Exposure on Windows) and here's a blub on it. Rosco VIEW is a two-part system consisting of wide width polarizer filter in gel form and a matching optical glass polarizer camera filter. When utilized together, you are able to instantly control 100% of exterior brightness as seen through windows without affecting the lighting and exposure within the studio or set. By rotating the Rosco VIEW camera filter, you are able to change the degree of cross polarization occurring on the window where Rosco VIEW gel filter is applied. It is no longer necessary to constantly change out various ND filters or keep many different types of hard gels on stand by. |

I saw a bunch of posts when this was first introduced, actually quite a while ago. It is pretty expensive, something like I thought perhaps a thousand or two thousand dollars for a roll of 56" x 9 and the filter? I recall seeing it, checking into it and saying to myself, "cool idea, call me when it is realistically priced."
