Lanc Splitter Cable for FS5?
I was wondering if such a thing exists?
Not much info online. On the FS5, it would be useful to be able to operate the hand grip when hand held or a remote zoom demand when on a tripod. This would be much simpler with a Lanc splitter, or so I thought... |

Hi,
AFAIK both ends of a lanc connection communicate. Hence a simple splitter won't work. Manfrotto made a little box for this (Manfrotto MA 521 SB) but it's OOP and I couldn't buy it anymore here in europe when I tried last year. Thanks for the information.
I was ideally looking for a short splitter cable, rather than a box so I could add the remote zoom demand easily and quickly when required. Sadly, it doesn't sound as if this will be possible. |

Hi,
I immediately ordered the very same cable here on amazon.de and it works flawlessly but I still doubt that this is like it's meant to be :) Alex PS: Utilizing it with my FS7 to use grip and Manfrotto Lanc control at the same time. |
