FS7 scene files not compatible with FS7 MII?
Anyone who's taken delivery of a FS7 MII yet had any luck transferring scene files from FS7? My FS7 MKII cannot read the scene files from my FS7. I didn't think things were changed that much, but apparently there is more different than meets the eye.

Re: FS7 scene files not compatible with FS7 MII?
Okay.... I know the FS7MK2s are shipping now, so some of you must have encountered the same issue. Scene Files are NOT compatible w/ FS7. I've seen people already posting about this issue on the Sony Forum. Anyone here had any luck whatsoever? I tried copying the settings manually from the Scene Files in my FS7, and not. even. close. Clearly there is a lot changed here, but I really need to match these!

Re: FS7 scene files not compatible with FS7 MII?
I was just going to delete this, since no one has replied.... but my good friend Doug Jensen had seen it and raised some questions about it and emailed me. Since there may be others who read it and didn't reply and are concerned.... here's an update.
For the record, I'm an idiot and didn't pay close enough attention to the Adaptive Matrix setting, which was left on for several of the scene files where it was meant to be off. It does appear you can manually enter the settings and duplicate the Scene Files from an FS7. Just make sure you pay attention to ALL of them! ;) Oh yeah, and don't have a second scotch while doing so.
