FS7 LUT that may be of some use to someone
Trying to keep some producers happy on set, producers who want "Log" all of a sudden. I decided I needed a middle of the road camera S-Log3 3D LUT that looked acceptable on a location monitor. Surprisingly all so far have wanted the same LUT used in their post sessions. It seems to keep them happy and generally the only tweaks we are making are to Lift, Gamma, Gain, Offset, Color Temp etc. I created it in Resolve. If it's of any use to anyone be my guest. In the zip folder are some sample S-Log stills of various quality from the net with and without the LUT applied. It should give you an idea of what you will get with this LUT. Many thanks to those unsung contributors who have uploaded Log stills for all of us to see and experiment with.
The Zip file with LUT and example stills can be downloaded here: https://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/nj64l6 Chris Young CYV Productions Sydney |

Re: FS7 LUT that may be of some use to someone
Quite a lot of downloads of this LUT plus the scene file in another post. Thought I might have heard the the good the bad and the ugly by now on these. Anyone tried them? Just curious about any feedback.

Just be patient, Christopher - I was one of those who downloaded both (Thanks for sharing them free - really appreciated), but simply didn't find time to give then a go yet. After I do, I will certainly post my feedback here :) Cheers

Thx and understand Piotr. Struggled to find the time to create them. All a bit time consuming with a lot of testing and re-testing. Thanks for giving them a try.
