FS5 stock lens focus wheel teeth
Hi
I have put my FS5 onto a rig plate and attached a focus wheel. I am having trouble identifying the teeth size / pitch on the lens in order to get the correct wheel made up. Anyone know what it is please? I'd consider an alternative gear belt method but I think they will cause problems where the belt in joined as the lens has no hard stops. Am I wrong in thinking that? Thanks...

Re: FS5 stock lens focus wheel teeth
When close to the belt joint, just a single "jerky" short turn of the follow focus wheel will change the lens focus wheel range for you...

Follow focus systems are not really very useful on Sony lenses (speed sensitive so you will never hit the same mark twice) but having said that I do use them once in while for shoulder mounting) and got custom rings from followfocusgears.com $35
