V-mount is one standard and many make batteries and plates for this system, IDX is one of them as is Sony.

The Gold Mount is a different Brick battery system, that AntonBauer Makes and now it has been copied by many third party battery and plate makers. It is very different it does not use a wedge style, AB also invented the now widely copied D-tap. It has 3 studs in the back of the battery and inserts from the side not the top. Here is a photo of that type of mount:

Go the Tilta. Cheap. Tough and works well. I get 4 hours runtime out of 95WA Batto. Balances camera pretty well too. I also run my Zacuto Gratical off it.

Nobody much wants Prores since XAVC but that Timecode port might be handy for multi cam and Separate audio.
