FS7 handgrip Retrofit to ARRI Stdrd available here
Hello,
I engineered a way to modify the FS7 grip into an ARRI Standard rosette config. Two choices, 1. M6 stainless steel rosette with internal threaded socket 2. Male ratcheting M6 stud. Video below shows attachment. I've been doing them for a couple weeks now, they are already out there and shooters really like the result - it's a silver bullet fix. They are in stock and ready to go. Email for pricing - it's very fair. I suggest people send me their grip and arm for detaching and retrofit. USPS roundtrip takes usually 5 days ALL IN , including the retrofit itself. DIY is available - it's an easy assembly BUT the Sony screws that connect the arm to the grip strip very easily - I've modified 8 grips now and found the factory uses varying amounts of epoxy on threads. I run a dedicated camera only machine shop and remove them safely/correctly. This is preferred. But it's your decision. If you strip the screws I can still remove them with tools but I charge extra for that. The entire mod is footprint free so you can return to factory at any time. A couple people also asked for threaded rosettes on the Sony arm - that's easily done as well. I'm at info@shootingmachine.net Thanks, Caleb Crosby, soc ShootingMachine.net https://www.facebook.com/shootingmac...homepage_panel |

I call it the Crony since it's a companion piece to the FS7.
Below clip shows the unique way it works. cheers Caleb Crosby, soc ShootingMachine.net Last edited by Caleb Crosby; March 31st, 2016 at 06:08 AM. |
