Wow....facinating. I'm definitely impressed that Sony has publicly mentioned this. This is exactly the right way to deal with the controversy.
I'd love for Sony to create a simple noise reduction firmware option. "high", "medium" and "low". ("High" being what it currently is today.) Noise doesn't scare me. as long as they make the "fix" switchable... I have had a very hard time getting the issues to show and would hate to loose NR for the odd times the issues might be visible trade one problem I hardly see for one I always have to deal with would be tuff to deal with
