Weight of FS7 with V-lock adapter and V-lock?
Hey all
Sorry for this mind-numbingly boring question, but I'm trying to calculate some load options for a light weight tripod using the FS7. Does anyone have an idea of how heavy a package is with the FS7, with the 28-135mm f/4 G OSS Lens, v-lock adapter and attached v-lock would be? Thanks in advance! Re: Weight of FS7 with V-lock adapter and V-lock?
One company I work with has a couple of FS7's, configured with prores backs, A-B adapters and Bauer lithium batteries.
With the 28-135 I prefer the Sachtler 8 head to the Sachtler 6. If I want to use a long lens (such as a 70-200) I'll opt for something heavier (like a Video 18) if anything critical is happening at the long end. One issue with the small heads and a big battery / plus wireless receivers / plus a monitor or other stuff on the back -- the counter-weight distribution may require an offset to get the camera balanced properly -- especially if you switch to a small prime lens. |
