Re: XQD Compatibility Question
The S & N Old cards do not work in the new G adapter.
This is what I have read several places, I have not tried myself as I only have the new cards.

Re: XQD Compatibility Question
Correct. S&N cards do not work in the reader that comes with G cards. All work in the stand alone sony and lexar XQD readers.

Re: XQD Compatibility Question
I just had a client say "the Lexar cards do not work in 4k 10bit on the FS7".
These cards from Lexar had been fine. No complaints. BUT - I didn't try myself in an FS7 and record UHD60 for 11 minutes to fill up a 64GB card at one time. Lexar LXQD64GCRBNA1333: 64GB Professional 1333x XQD Memory Card I didn't know there was a way to change in between 8bit and 10bit on the FS7. |

Re: XQD Compatibility Question
4K Long GOP is by default 8 bit. Intra is by default 10 bit. I don't believe you can change it in a camera menu, it's just how the formats are.
