Sony F3 IR Cut Filters
Does anybody have any recommendations for an IR cut filter for the F3?
I've found this one from Schneider True-cut 680 IR: https://www.schneideroptics.com/ecom...=1511&IID=7144 Schneider also has a True-cut 750 IR: https://www.schneideroptics.com/ecom...=1511&IID=6761 Would the 750 be sufficient for the F3 or would the 680 be a better suit? Thanks, Brent |

I would go with the Tiffen T1 that was developed specifically for the EX-1 since its basically the same sensor.

BTW I generally don't feel the need for an IR cut with F3. Its much better than the EX-1/3 but there is some IR issue so a T1is a good idea to have.

I had an issue with the F3 recently with stage lighting, wasn't nearly as bad as the EX3, but still something I want to take care of. I'll look into the T1, thanks. Brent |
