Re: New Sony F3 Brochure
I wouldn't trust the fella on p. 18. He owes me money.

Re: New Sony F3 Brochure
IMHO, the XQD compatibility should be advertised more.

Re: New Sony F3 Brochure
The cat on page 12 has me the most worried.
That piercing stare, pointy ears, snow white tan... Wasn't he in Lord of the Rings? Well, with the release of the PMW-200, I thought a F4 or F5 might be on the horizon. Why would Sony release a new brochure for the F3 if the next model was on the way? I am not familiar with Sony rumors or release practices. Can someone give a educated guess what is down the road for the F3.

Re: New Sony F3 Brochure
Well IBC is only a little over 3 weeks away, maybe we'll find out more then. There is also the recent request for ideas for the next firmware update, so my guess is the F3 isn't going anywhere soon. We might see a 4K version perhaps, but that might be a companion camera rather than a replacement, much like the FS100/FS700 or Canon C300/C500.
The F3 is a great camera, I'm not sure how much more you can expect from a camera in this price range.
