F3 spot shot in California
Here is a spot we shot using the F3. Shot using both onboard SxS and to a PIX240. Zeiss C.P's were used. The interview was shot at 1080/30p. The b-roll was all shot at 720p 30/60 overcrank.

Looks great! Very nice saturation and contrast. I like the composition of the interview with the arches in the background, sun streaming across the tiles, and shadows breaking up the splash of sunlight.

Re: F3 spot shot in California
Thanks for posting. Did you end up using the SXS card files or the PIX files? Was there a big enough difference?
Thanks. |

Re: F3 spot shot in California
Used footage from the PIX. It held up a bit better in color grading. We also did a lot of work replacing the sky in the background of a couple shots, so the 10bit footage held up better for that.
As for the footage side by side, not much difference. But once you blew it up and started working with it there was a difference. |
