Sony f3 fashion commercial at DVinfo.net

Hi everyone,

I am posting the link to a fashion commercial I have directed/cinematographed. We shot it on sony F3, aja ki pro and we used the sony kit lenses (35,50,85) and a cooke 20mm lense. If you are wandering how the f3 looks in action there is also a groovy making of this commercial below.

When I saw the commercial, my first thought was "hey, everything looks green screened." Then when I saw the making of the commercial, green screen was confirmed. The images itself are great, the lighting looks good, but was it supposed to look realistic? Or did you intend to make the piece look like composited montage of elements put together?

Hi,

thanks for the comments...our purpose was to make it look a bit unrealistic hence that was the reason we went green screen....most of the shots couldnt be pulled out on realistic locations or they would cost too much....otherwise we were very happy with the qualiti of the f3 and the 4:2:2 recording to aja ki pro mini...
