Newest F3 TV spot

Here is the latest spot I shot using the F3. I used Zeiss CP's and no external recording device (still waiting for my PIX240). Footage still held up well for some color work in post.

Nicely done ... I take it just the internal codec?

Yes, used SxS card with the 4:2:0 codec.

Is it me or does he look lobster red? The 'family' looks more normal, but fairly tan.

Your spots keep making me jealous because I want an F3. At least I will get to rent one soon for a couple TVCs along with the S-Log upgrade for $1150 for 4 days.

What mattebox do you use?

Re: Newest F3 TV spot

Four square ball red in some shots. Color seems a tad inconsistent with some shots being over saturated.

But I do appreciate you posting. Looking forward to your future work. And of course I am jealous of your camera.

Re: Newest F3 TV spot

"Jerry" was a bit red and sun-burned. But the compression has added to the redness. The spot that aired was not nearly as red looking.

I used the Abel_HILITE and Abel_NORM settings. Most of the color was done in post.
