F3 Recording Options

This may be a silly question that everyone but me already knows the answer to...

Sony has announced an upgrade to the F3 that will allow for a full 4:4:4 output via dual SDI. Old News.
Sony has announced their new super high speed 1TB SR Memory Cards. Also old news...

My question is, what device are these new SR memory cards supposed to plug into that will let you record the 4:4:4 out from the F3?

Thanks,
David Schmerin

Re: F3 Recording Options

This is not an answer but once dual HD/SDI is enabled, you should be able to use any recording device to process the signal. Proprietary cards, recorders and such will most likely be restrictive in recording the signal. The key is having the signal.

That device is the SR-R1, but it won't be shipping for a few more months.
Upcoming Sony Products: PMW-F3 & SR-R1 Deck - Negative Spaces - Ben Cain

I've played a little with a protype and it is pretty cool. Takes a v-Lock battery on the back and it even has built-in holes for mounting on rods.

Another option is the Codex box but its price is prohibitive for purchasing. It can record uncompressed from 2 422 cameras (great for S3D) or one 444 to raided SSD drives while outputting DNxHD, DPX, etc files to a workstation all in real-time.
