HELP - how do I remove the PL-mount

I just got my F3 and want to try it out with my Nikon-adapter but I can't figure out how to remove the PL-mount. I suspect it should just come of if I turn it anti-clock-wise but it seems to be stuck and I don't want to break anything. Any tricks?

It rotates in the same manner as the PL mount.

Thanks! Problem is - it does not rotate at all. I've been using more force than I'd like to but it's stuck!!! This is the worst anticlimax ever. I'm sitting here with a useless F3 that I'm afraid to break if I try any harder. How much force do you need to apply to get it off?
Does anyone have any tricks to get it off?

You're rotating the little ring, not the PL mount adapter, correct? Think of the ring as being the mount, and as the PL mount being a lens.

YES, that was it!! Thanks James. I'm so stupid. I thought the whole thing was supposed to rotate. Now - I know that it can handle a whole lot of force!

Happy shooting Ola!

On a separate note... just watched some footage I shot with the Letus Ultimate & EX1 a couple years ago... just suffers so horribly by comparison.

Thanks again for saving my night! Looking forward to taking it for a spin, hopefully tomorrow. I've been using my Letus for two years now with my EX1 and I'm really looking forward to getting rid off it. Can't live without the shallow DOP though. It's a love/hate relationship. Hopefully the F3 will be all love!

F3 availability

It would appear that all of Europe is at the head of the line in re receipt of F3s when compared to the U.S.
Is this just my impatient perception?

No clue, but I'm in Tennessee and I got mine this past Saturday, and my vendor is in New York.

Vendors around the world have been get very limited numbers of F3's. For example, in the UK Visual Impact one of the big dealers only received 3 units, which are all being used as demo cameras. I believe it is the same around the world. Quantities are very limited. Further shipments are expected next week.
