Smallrig attachment for VCT-14
I will need an attachment for my VCT-14 tripod plate.
Looking at this for the bottom of the Z280. Is this over kill? Thanks once again. I've found a used SmallRig Sony VCT-14 Shoulder Plate 1954 Last edited by Anthony McErlean; March 15th, 2022 at 09:15 AM. Reason: UPDATE |

Re: Smallrig attachment for VCT-14
One of the smartest smaller VCT-14 suitable plates I've seen around is a neat German one. It also doubles up to fit a standard Manfrotto 501PL tripod head fitting. Made by Roko in Hamburg. 70 Euro which is about US $76.00. I think this would work very well on a PXW-Z280 or PMW series camera. I'm tempted to get one myself but do I need it is the question as I have two similar ones that are no longer made, one From Genustech and one from Libec. Though they aren't dual purpose like this Roko.
For the smaller type cameras, they work really well. The Genustech GAP VCT-14 Adapter Plate stays on my FS7 most of the time. It also bolts through to the Sony 18-110mm zoom lens support. Chris Young https://ebay.to/35TtFXP |
