EX1 Firmware Question
Hi,
Haven't checked in for awhile and I noticed that there is a firmware version update 1.30 for the EX1 on the Sony EU site (I am in the USA). I have been using firmware version 1.25 for a few years with no problems. Is there any reason to upgrade to version 1.30? I shoot exclusively with Patriot 32GB and 64GB SDHC cards mounted in Sonnet SDHC adapters and have never a problem. Anything to gain (or lose) updating the EX1 firmware from 1.25 to 1.30? Thanks, John |

Re: EX1 Firmware Question
i'm on 1.3 - i went to it for extended card support. see below.
don't think it matters if all's working well for you. if it ain't broke, don't fix it :-) XQD memory card series added (with XQD ExpressCard Adapter QDA-EX1)

Re: EX1 Firmware Question
There's actually a 1.31 firmware if you knew the FTP link to get it. I use 1.3 and 1.31 because I use XQD cards.
