PXW160 and Teradek
Hi,
Will be using the 160 on a live stream this week but am not familiar with the camera and won't have a lot of time to familiarise myself with it on the day.It should be a pretty straightforward shoot and will probably be already set up but would appreciate any tips on quickly connectiing it up to the teradek and settings within the camera that need to be done should I need to troubleshoot? Thanks Jon. |

Re: PXW160 and Teradek
Are you using a Cube, if so, which version? It is best to have your streaming device set-up prior to the shoot. If you are simply jacking into a streaming encoder, then figure out (little on screen menu?) what the thing is streaming out, be it 1080, 720, 480, 360 etc, and try to set your SDI or HDMI output to match it. You may want to set the record codec in the camera to the correct frame rate as well, as the X160 will want to output the same video out of the ports as the codec format it is recording. Make sure in the X160 menu that you have whichever output you are using set to ON.

Hello Paul,
Thanks for that, very useful. I believe it's the 155, they are using. Jonathan. |
