PXW-X180 can shoot XAVC-Intra on SDXC cards
I did a full reset on my X180, and when it rebooted with my Sony MEAD-SD02 SDXC card adaptors inserted, it was set to XAVC-Intra 112Mbps. When I pressed REC, it worked! Yay!
The operating manual states that you need SxS or the XQD adaptor to run XAVC-Intra......maybe the new firmware released a few months ago changed that. It's a pleasant suprise though. i should mention I am using Sony OEM 64GB "94MB/s" SDXC cards with OEM card adaptors. Paul |

This is because they support exFAT, which XAVC requires to run.
Make sure from here on out you get "U3" cards to ensure that 112mbps writes to it properly. |

that's brilliant is that the highest setting as i know nothing about codes
