Hey guys, can you give me some suggestions on where to repair a Sony EX1?
Just looking for a place with a good rep and a fair price. Thanks!

Lens? Electronics? Case cracked? Smoke coming out of the unit? :-)

Fusion Cine has repair/maintenance services in Vancouver. They're on Venables St After Clark Dr and before Commercial Dr. They tout on their site they are the official Sony service center for Western Canada.
http://fusioncine.com/technical-serv...intenance.html Very reputable. I bought my EX1R from them when they were named Genesis Matrix Video. |

...Though I will add the detail that their service technician is away on Fridays. Left my EX1R there because of this issue: http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/sony-xdc...ml#post1879235

Facepalm... I never even thought of Fusion for repairs and it's so obvious, lol. I was about to box it up and ship it to LA. Thanks Jack!
Oh and it looks like a dead SDI port. I may just sell it cheap and buy another unit.

Motherboard-wise dead or just the port? The port is easy. The motherboard though would really suck.
