PMW - Z100 / focus problem, do others have? at DVinfo.net

Hi folks
A friend of mine has just purchased a z100 new. Out of the box I noticed the camera at full zoom was unable to focus to infinity, indeed anything past about 50 metres.

If the zoom is backed out by 15% you can then get far focus but not at full zoom or anywhere in that last 15%.

Anyone come across this problem on this cam?

Hi again

So this camera has been replaced and at the camera seems to be ok.

Something to watch out for if you are buying one though !
