PMW300 Viewfinder
My biggest fear with my PMW300 is that the viewfinder looks like it could easily break off. I got my 300 out of the boot of the car today, opened the bag and there it was with the viewfinder broken off.
Also just a couple of days before I'm supposed to be taking it to Brisbane for for a three day shoot. Maybe just a lesson that it wouldn't hurt to remove the viewfinder when in transit. Shouldn't have to though.

Re: PMW300 Viewfinder
I always dismantle mine and place the loose bits in a soft bag within my Petrol camera bag during transit - not had a problem so far. PMW-300 is so much easier to get into an airline overhead bin compliant bag than my EX3 was, that's for sure :-)

Re: PMW300 Viewfinder
Sure I do the same when flying but was maybe a bit too relaxed when traveling with it in the car.
Ill have to get creative to mount it temporarily for the trip.
