Picture setting for blacks or gamma
Hi all, so my question is can some one tell me what setting I should use, I film a lot of stage show, and dance concerts, I find that the blacks are too black, very crushed. I do not recaod to cards I take SDI out , to a Tricast. but saying this i want to keep the image as clean as possable, low noise. i shoot on 0db. Cameras are. We shoot 108025p as in PAL land.
Sony ex 3 Sony pmw200 Or is there a good general setting I can use on both cameras for stage work and night shooting. On another topic,PMW-200 I shoot interviews for a Japanesse client, in pal land, the footage isbput onto dvd and sent to japan, I have been setting the camera to NTSC , but putting the shutter on at 1/50th to stop light flicking, works well. What is the NTSC -J setting do, ?
