Sony PMW-300 SDI outputs
Hi there,
Does anyone know if there is a way of splitting the SDI outputs on a PMW-300 so that only one of the outputs can be set to 'Super' - therefore displaying all of the menu functions? - I can't seem to find a way in the menu system or instructions. We will be using the cameras frequently in a studio style setup with a separate LCD monitor mounted to the top. Also, I'm curious to find out if the Fujinon ACM-18 lens adapter will alter the focal length of an alternative 1/2" lens? Having searched online, it seems that the focal length will only be altered for 2/3" > 1/2" lens adapters but it'd be good to confirm that with anyone who has any knowledge of them. Rather annoyingly, the lenses that we were supplied with (Canon KH20x6.4KRS) were not of the EX mount type.... Cheers, Jonny |

HI
Dont know about the 300 but the PMW400 cannot split the signals - both SDI output will show the same picture that has been selected in the menu. |

Re: Sony PMW-300 SDI outputs
The SDI is 10bit 422 but there is no way to split them.
