Century Precision Optics 0HD-20TC-EX1 2X Teleconverter?
Wondering...truly worth the investment by those of us who own an EX3?
When I see the words "offers partial zoom through capability" in the description...my gut reaction is "no". However there's a side of me thinking I might be wrong. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/634562-REG/Century_Precision_Optics_0HD_20TC_EX1_0HD_20TC_EX1_2X_Teleconverter_Lens.html

Re: Century Precision Optics 0HD-20TC-EX1 2X Teleconverter?
John,
I have the Century 1.6 teleconverter for the EX series and I wouldn't trade it for anything. If I could find a decent price for a used 2.0, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. My lens is tack sharp, especially after I sent it into Schneider for some warranty repair. They quickly fixed a focusing issue and had it back to me in a very short time. I think the "partial zoom through capability" should actually refer to being able to zoom out. You get vignetting at some point -- can't remember exactly where is appears with my lens -- but I didn't buy it for wide-angle shots. It's a telephoto lens and that's what I use it for. Phil |

Can't thank you enough for the info Phil.
I value those who have real hands on experience with gear I'm interested in. Just reading the "tack sharp" comment has me getting ready to buy myself a Christmas gift...after January 1! Thanks! ;)
