ex1r backlight lcd on/off function
I was recently shooting a lot outside using the hoodman loupe on my lcd screen.it was a hot day.
the next day I had a shoot in a church and when I turned the camera on the lcd was literally off, you could faintly see an image as if I turned the iris almost completely closed. freaking out, I saw the on/off lcd backlight switch. it was in the off position,so I turned it on and all was good. my question, did something happen to the lcd? it was fine before and that switch was in the off position from day one that I had the camera. input welcome. |

Re: ex1r backlight lcd on/off function
No, it should be the opposite, from day one, the switch should be in On.
Do you shoot a lot in bright sunlight? That is the only explanation for you seeing picture on a bright sunny day vs being indoors and the backlight being off. It could have been knocked during transport, as that is always a possibility. |
