Ari Lo Caster LED
Recently took delivery of Arri Lo caster LED 2 light set.. from B&H.. very nice lights.. have used lite panels 1x1 which are also good.but these are better in opinion .. lighter and smaller.. higher out put.. CT from 2800 to 6500 but mostly because of the beveled glass front that makes it one source .. so barn doors actually work until LP.. and nice shadow quality ..
Ok not going to light up Wembley stadium.. but great for interviews .. tight spaces .. Recommend.. |

Re: Ari Lo Caster LED
Robin, can they be powered by battery? Also, I looked at the light on B&H but I couldn't tell what came in the box. It didn't even look like it came with a power supply....that HAS to be wrong.

Re: Ari Lo Caster LED
Hi Dave
I got the 2 light kit with the peli case, stirrups and barn doors from B&H.. that comes with AC power cables.. At the time I could only see a back for Bauer batts (I have V mount),and in a way to keep it all separate as a lighting kit.. I got two of the Arri batts, each comes with its own small charger .. but have now seen V mount backs are available.. (not B&H for some reason) Barn doors are an extra.. but I would recommend them as one of the nice things that you pay the extra money for ,is you can use barn doors on these lights.. But I would think the AC power cable would come with the light.. you need the stirrup also.. I would think that would come with it too.. sorry dont know for sure..have you tried the "whats in the box" tab. but the kit is good as its all there and in this really nice small case..with purpose cut padding.. which will also fit 2 X batt,s.. put some small stands in the tripod case and your away.. there is a one light kit and a two light kit I believe.. |

Re: Ari Lo Caster LED
Just had a look on B&H.. your right no AC cable.. but does have the stirrup.. maybe there is some generic type cable that can be also used..? I think the kit is the best way to go..
