Live SDI Capture with Sony EX3
Hello, i would like to know if someone can help, i will be wanting to do live capture of concerts, 2 Sony EX3 Cameras with SDI. one camera will have a 50to 70 foot run and the other will be 10 foot. I want to switch live and record the concert. I need to monitor both cameras and have the ability to switch live. Is the UltraStudio Express SDI Blackmagic Design: UltraStudio 3D version something that may work, as i have a new Mac Pro laptop with Thunderbolt. If not can someone let me know what else i can use to do this. Thanks Robert.

Re: Live SDI Capture with Sony EX3
You will need a piece of software called "Wirecast" to switch between cameras. Capture cannot be of both cameras, but a live switched performance.
A Decklink Quad card has been proven to work on a Sonnet PCI-E to Thunderbolt adapter: https://plus.google.com/112053177074...ts/Ne3tm3tnSQs and https://plus.google.com/112053177074...ts/7RiTdaEyGNv |
