Powering the Sony sxs card reader by a Swit battery
Has anyone powered the Sony sxs card reader by a Swit 96Whr battery? I need to offload footage without the need of an ac power supply. I was thinking of buying the Dolgin accessory that helps you to use the Sony EX batteries to power the card reader when I realized that I can easily power it up using the large Swit batteries.
However my concern is that the battery outputs around 16.5volts whilst the ac power adaptor of the reader outputs a 12volt output. I know that some electronics have a range of acceptable voltages but I am not on a mood of risking at the moment. Hence I would like to see whether someone took the plunge and did it ....and the reader survived! |
