My EX1 used with the JuicedLink DIY114B Slider
Hey there.
Just wanted to mention that I was able to get some pretty good shots with my EX1 using the JuicedLink Slider. The slider is designed for DSLRs, and it works awesomely for that, but with some practice you can use it with the gigantic EX1 too. With the 4' rails I was able to do some great shots. With 7' rails, not so much. The camera wants to bob up and down. With careful balancing and a steady hand, maybe. With any camera you still need to balance it for the best performance, but if you think you need a 4' rail system for your EX1, you may want to try this out. 4' is enough to get some nice dynamic shots. Here's a little video I made about it. The opening shot was done with a T2I, but everything else was the EX1. There is a slider shot montage at the very end.
