Anyone use the Powerlok BP-U60 65WH (BPU60) battery from CreativeVideo? How long does it last?

Re: Powerlok BP-U60 65WH (BPU60) battery
Same as the BP -U60 that Sony sells. I use a similar battery but different make.
You probably know this but it is worth stating... The battery does not communicate the time remaining like the Sony branded batteries do. You will see the voltage displayed in the EVF in the upper left corner of the EVF. The advantages are price and that you have an Anton Bauer like female P-Tap (D-Tap) connector on the side of the battery. Great for powering accessories. On an EX1/EX1R/EX3 the battery lasts for hours. Once you start putting on accessories, of course, the length of time the battery lasts goes down. If you shoot a lot of event video where you need continuous recording in excess of 3 hours you should go to a 90 watt hour battery. |
