Uk owners
Hey All UK owners
just a quick question, i am gearing my ex1 up getting more batteries/media and monitors etc. I also have a Canon 60d. I just inquiring, do any of you from the UK buy off US EBAY? as i have seen some great deals on there. If you do how much do you get charged shipping/import duty tax etc. Thanks |

Re: Uk owners
It will more than likely get caught at customs where you'll be stung for import duty and VAT. And then the courier company will probably whack a handling fee on. You'll almost certainly end up worse off,

Re: Uk owners
I agree with Marcus. When the pound was right up against the dollar it was worth it, but not at the moment, even if you're VAT registered.

Re: Uk owners
Forget ebay, you are more likely to be ripped off. Seek out a good UK based dealer.
