Hi Ollie

I use the MxM adaptors too along with ATP Cards
I keep the card in the adaptor at all times.

I could have 8/9 of these so no need to take the card out at all.

yeah can you change cards over.

or is it 1 card per slot. meaning once the 16gb has run out can you put another 16gb in its place?

Hi Ollie,

What camera are you using?

My EX3 has two slots, A and B.
When the card in slot A is full it carries on recording onto the card in slot B.

You then take out the MxM adaptor thats in slot A and replace it with an empty one so when the card in slot B is full it then returns to the empty card in slot A and so on.

Hope I've explained this properly.

Re: media help

You should eject the adapter once the card is full (while the other adapter/card is recording in the other slot). Then replace the card with a fresh one. Don't eject the card itself from the adapter while it is in the camera.

Juggling SD cards on location is asking for trouble. Good media management dictates that you should have one adaptor per SD card. Do your card wrangling away from the pressure of a shoot.

My SD cards never leave their adaptors. The cost is so low why create problems?
