Chrosziel 450-ex1k on an EX3
Could anyone confirm that a Chrosziel 450-EX1K matte box kit can fit on a EX3? I looked up the 450-EX1K vs the 450-EX3K and couldn't find what the differences are, except about $300 more for the EX3 kit.
Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Garrett |

The difference is the height of the base plate. The upgrade kit included a shorter plate and shorter screws, I changed mine around 2 years ago, but I remember the cost being more around $ 100 not $300. For anyone interested, the EX3 mounting plate works on the F3, as well.

I'm using Olof's reinforced plate so no matter what I'm having to modify the mounting. I got a deal on a used one and am playing with mounting options now. It's one nice matte box btw. -Garrett |
