Problem with the EX1 1.25 Firmware update (mac) at DVinfo.net

hey everybody!

I downloaded the EX1 Binary Package Update 1.25 (BPE-SS-03JW) from the Sony Support Centre, but I cant start the "VersionupTool" Programm for Mac. It just doesen't open.
I followed the description in the Instrucions exactly!

I tried to download the Files again, still the same problem...

I got a MacBook Pro with MacOS X 10.5.8

If your having a problem with the software on your mac I would not go any further. A failed update can be very expensive to put right. I would suggest borrowing a PC and doing it with a PC.

I tried it again on different machines (both Mac and PC) but still no success:
On Mac the Installer doesn't even start, on Win i get an error-message saying "There is an error in the upgrade tool. Please obtain the correct update tool. Push the OK button to exit the upgrade tool. (ID: 010204)"

And i think i know what the problem is:
On the download-site (the official sony-site!!), the Download-Info says: [ SS03JW_1.ZIP, 24.45 Mb ] but when i downloaded it, the file only has 23,31 Mb.
I tried on different Browsers, Download-Programms, both Win and Mac - my gues would be that the SS03JW_1.ZIP File is damaged on the Sony Server (maybe only on the European or German server)!

Did anyone of you upgrade your EX1 to 1.25 with the SS03JW_1.ZIP file sucessfully? What can i do?!
