Any way to rename clips in the BPAV structure?
Shooting a piece over an extended period I've found I've managed to duplicate clip names. No that big an issue really except I like to merge them all into one BPAV or export them as MXFs into one folder. I had thought the Clipbrowser would have the smarts to rename clips but it seems not. Anyone know of a way to do this?

Re: Any way to rename clips in the BPAV structure?
Bob,
Can't you combine the folders? Right click the folder in the tree view of CB and select "Combine". If I am misunderstanding what you are trying to do there is another way if you have a USB Hard Drive recorder and an Expresscard to USB adapter. Not sure how much data you have, but you can put the cards one after the other into slot A and have the recording setup in slot B. You can then record from slot A to slot B. It will create a single BPAV folder renaming all the clips in the process. I made my own, but it is just like this one: http://e-films.com.au/shoppingcart/p...corder%29.html It operates like this: http://e-films.com.au/shoppingcart/p..._userguide.pdf John |

John,
yes, normally I can combine folders. I haven't tried combining them when they contain identical clip names though. Maybe that's one way to force a rename. |
