HDMI/SDI out on a EX1R
Can both HDMI and SDI out ports work at the same time on my EX1R.
Thank you, Claude |

As far as I know, it is only one or the other.

I just tried this last night: a monitor to the HDMI and a Ki-Pro to the SDI. Kept getting a message that the input was changing with flashing lights on the Ki-Pro and got no picture on the monitor, no-go.

If you have a NanoFlash you can output SDI to the NF and the NF will then output both SDI and HDMI. And SDI also loops out.
This is nice if you need to feed multiple monitors w/o loop through.

With the Ki Pro connected to your camera's SDI output, can you not connect the Ki Pro's HDMI output to your monitor, thereby providing a solution for the camera's one-or-the-other limitation?
