Is there such a thing..
I am looking for a cable out of the ex 3 that would be able to port to a monitor via dvi. is there a cable/gender chager box that would accomodate...hdmi ti dvi on the ex 3 ...sdi to dvi...etc?

I believe you'd have to get a converter box like this one:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/626535-REG/AJA_HDP2_HDP2_HD_SD_SDI_to_DVI_D.html taking the SDI out into the box then into your DVI monitor. The EX3 does not have an HDMI out. Also should have mentioned that DVI does not contain audio.
