Help, file transfer freezes

I just shot a show with (2) 32 gig S X S cards. I've tried clip browser, shot put pro and final cut log and transfer. The first card has 52 minutes of footage. I start to copy the card and the system just won't go any further than a quarter of the way (according to the progress bar). Using shot put pro, I get about half way through the transfer and it just hangs up. Final Cut Pro, the transfer hangs up.

I didn't format the cards before using. I simply deleted all clips. My shooting format is 720p 60.

Help pls.....

Corrupted file?
Just in case, tell us about your system and hard drives you're copying to.
Although I don't normally recommend it, have you tried drag and drop of the BPAV?
32GB and the first card has only 52 minutes on it? Was there a reason you went to the second card at that point?
We need a more complete story.

This can happen if your computer HD is in trouble as well.

If possible try another computer HD combo.

Can you play the clips in the camera?

And more info about your system would help. Are you using an adapter to transfer (then try another) or direct by cable (then try another or different usb slot) from the camera etc. More info, more quality help. Any recent updates?

If it is a Mac (FCP comment leads me to think it is). Run Disc Warrior on your Computer system drive and the drive you are copying to (hopefully not the same as the system drive). Also repair permissions on any drive with OSX on it.

Craig's Idea of copying the BPAV folder to a drive in this case is a great idea. Then try the transfer from the new copy of the BPAV. But make sure your computer drives are in good health first.

learning curve

gents,
I think I was in a bit of panic mode. It was my first shoot with this camera. I'm using the USB cable connected to the camera to off-load the files from (2) 32 gig cards. The transfer bar would start but then sort of hang in one spot without advancing for a long time. It acted this way when using all the apps listed above. I thought something was wrong. It was also close to midnight. I was able to transfer the footage using log and transfer in Final Cut Pro.
However, I do have a problem with slow zoom that I will post.

thx for your reply's.
