Hello Jim
Many very good suggestions here! At the end of the day The budget is yours and the choice is yours. As an idea - Get yourself a nanoFlash, Actually get two - the full 3D set! If you already have NF purchase the 3D unit. That would give you an option to shoot 3D as well. This is more versatile and would provide a much longer use then anything else for years to come. The money you would spend on nanoFlash (3D set) you will safe on second camera. Get an used Canon of the above or a tape HVxx that provides a HDMI proper out (not like 5D or 7D) for instance HV40 provides 8b and 4:4:4 colour space via HDMI! Attach your EX3 and the cheap Canon to the nanoFlash's and you would have a perfect setup for any bit rate of shooting plus you would have the same kind of files to work with without any transcoding or rendering. You would find the NF very versatile and useful! Just an idea I do that with my EX3's... Cheers Last edited by Luben Izov; November 1st, 2010 at 02:25 PM. Reason: Hello Jim |
