Panasonic releases 8GB & 16GB UHS-I SDHC cards: Digital Photography Review

I wonder if improved memory controllers will help with any of the data errors/media restore problems we've been seeing. I know we've been blaming the amorphous "quality control" in some Transcend cards and have narrowed down most of the Media Restore errors due to pressing Record while the camera has not completed its write. The questions remains as to what is the write performance of the device in the usual SDHC data bus mode.
