EX1R sound setting at DVinfo.net

Hello guys,

I was just wondering if anyone had experiences with the audio limiters / audio settings of the EX1R?
I just switched recently from EX1 and that cam I think did not have that menu option.
(or never came across)

So I recently had to work with performances on stage with really loud music.

My setup was:

an external NTG-3,
TRIM on -41 dBu,
manual level: 4 ,
limiter on,
MIC AGC low ( tried the high too and off but couldn't decide which is the best so left the low on)

Wanted to avoid audio distortion, got it but did not really like the fact of hearing clearly the limiter lowering the levels time to time. Any audio experiences with e.g. live concert setting of EX1R and how the limiter works? what are the best settings?
