My DP1X settings for EX1R
I spent some time speaking with SmallHD and although they have not updated the difference in settings on their website I will share what I learned while talking to them and adjusting the settings on my DP1X.
When I first turned on my DP1X I noticed way to much fuzz around the picture and was told that the sharpness setting by default was set way to high. At the moment I have it set to 4 and it seems to give me the clearest picture. During color calibration the blue gun only should be set to 128 and in order to get the correct black/white combination my settings are as follows. Contrast: 60 (a bump in this was recommended by smallHD themselves) Bright: 50 Hue:50 Saturation:50 Sharp: 4 I raised the indoor backlight from 40 to 50 it gave me better luminance without sacrificing the scarce battery power. The most natural color mode is the normal with RGB set to 128 each. Overscan: Hstart: 411 Hsize: 675 Vstart: 457 Vsize: 586 This is what I have so far. If anyone has anything else to add please feel free. I hope this helps. |
