Come on man...
I used DnxHD like that for 2 years and it never slowed me down one bit. I guess I was just happy to have a solid codec I could round trip to a Mac with for FREE. Avid is aware of the issue. They've just been busy with other little things, like MC5, and Matrox work, and a dozen other products.
