EX1R contra XF305
Hi,
I'm about to change my EX1. Today they announced the price of XF305 Is there anyone who managed to test the Canon so far or compared that with EX1? Due to it's 50Mps 4:2:2 and 18X objective I'm really hesitating between the XF305 and EX1R http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/co....mc_id=C128881

For me 1/2" chips are key. I like have that extra control of the DOF. One can add a nanoFlash and easily blow past that 50mbps 4:2:2. Of course a Canon person can argue they can add a 35mm lens adaptor and blow past 1/2" chips as far as DOF control is concerned.
It's not really about "best" camera but what tool fits your creative or business needs. Personally I'd still choose EX. |
