I need your help!!!!
Hello,
A few days ago, i shoot a theater with 2 cameras. Ex1r is the one and dsr400 Dvcam is the 2nd. Both was recording at Dvcam format 4:3 not 16:9. Then i edit in Avid MC, export the file and importing it into TMPEnc for Mpeg2. Then burn a DVD. And HERE is the problem. When the Ex1r cam is in the air, i have interlaced problem but the Dsr400 is Ok. Then change the Upper and Lower field order at TMPEnc and the problem has change. Now is ok the ex1r and interlaced problems at the dsr400. Ex1r is Ok at Bottom field and the dsr400p is ok at the Upper field!!!!! Any ideas? Thanks (I just now noticed and something else. All the master has interlaced problems when playing from the Avid, in the external monitor). Last edited by Giannis Pass; May 23rd, 2010 at 03:14 PM. |

It looks like you have to reverse fields on the footage of 1 of the camera's in Avid before exporting it.
Good luck!

All DV format footage should be lower field.
Does the EX1R record standard definition as MPEG or DV?
