Combining XDcam clips to make one long clip
Hello, I would like to combine about 40 clips shot on my EX1 into one big clip, and then repeat this process about 10 times. I was hoping to do this of course without doing it manually in FCP but I'm not sure how i can do this. I've been using FCP log and transfer because Snow Leopard seemed to be causing some problems with the Sony transfer application, but perhaps that is fixed now as well and might be helpful with this process. Anyway, just wondering if this is something others have encountered and whether there is a good workflow solution. Thanks!

ouput should be a quicktime file
also, i should add that the output i'm looking for is a quicktime file, not the original clips.

Using Sony transfer file to copy the files to media disk.
Select all of the files, copy and either import or drag to browser. Once all clips are in the browser, select them all again and copy and then paste into timeline. Redo as many copies on timeline as you like.
