Red fox and kits
Home movies? Pretty much. But how many people can make home movies of a fox and her kits in their yard?
The kits are about 3 months, now, and are venturing out more. In this video, the 6 of them can be seen nursing on mom, then later 4 of them go off with dad to learn how to hunt, while two stay back and play with mom. The first part was shot through my dusty living room window, so it looks softer than the rest. Sorry. The rest was from the deck, and from the road in front of the house, so it's cleaner. EX3 w/stock lens. First half shot 720p 30fps, second half shot 1080p 30 fps. |

Makes me miss living in Colorado. We had a similar view out our backyard when we lived out there. A huge dry creek bed that created a playground for all sorts of creatures including the occasional fox. Can't wait to get back there!
